“Whether exuberant or philosophical, sad or flirtatious, Dylan Galvin delivers music from the heart” – The Daily Vault
Hand chosen by Paul Simon himself out of thousands while at Berklee College in Boston MA, Dylan Galvin is a guitarist turned songwriter with a soft spot for nostalgic lyrics and emotional, fiery improvisation. Dylan studied under some of the best musicians in the world, including John Mayer’s own guitar teacher, Tomo Fujita and James Taylors quaint and talented brother, Livingston. Equal parts acoustic shredder and singer-songwriter. The Berklee Grad has been featured in PASTE Magazine, Voyage LA and Kings of A&R, has toured the US from coast to coast playing for the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium and celebs like Dylan McDermott and Fabio in Los Angeles, CA and a hundred places in between.
He is equal parts cover musician, original songwriter, live looping guitarist and solo guitar instrumentalist and can play a show entirely of any or all of these styles of his playing. He can be the soft ambient background to a perfect evening or the show-stopping singer that keeps everyone hanging on every word. Just let him know what you’re looking for.
